As the President of Tri Sigma, I had the honor of spearheading the "Pie a Sigma" fundraising event, where all proceeds were dedicated to colon cancer research in memory of one of our cherished members' late father.
The inspiration behind "Pie a Sigma" stemmed from our desire to honor the memory of Jim Schupbach, who bravely battled colon cancer. By channeling our energy into a lighthearted yet impactful activity, we aimed to raise awareness about colon cancer while raising funds to support research efforts aimed at preventing, diagnosing, and treating this devastating disease.
